Commercial PGP versions

If you are going to use PGP to secure your private email, then you can simply use one of the freeware versions. But if you are planning to use PGP in a commercial environment, you should purchase one of the versions listed here.



ViaCrypt PGP 2.7.1 and 4.0
ViaCrypt PGP is a commercial version of PGP formerly sold in the US and Canada only. In June 1996, ViaCrypt was acquired by PGP, Inc. ViaCrypt PGP 2.7.1 and 4.0 are now called PGPmail 2.7.1 and 4.0 respectively.


PGPmail 4.5
PGPmail 4.5 is a PGP version specifically aimed at the business market. It is available for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.0 only.


PGP for Personal Privacy 5.0
This version is available for Windows 95/NT 4.0, Macintosh and various Unix platforms. For more information, look here.
